Travis is still sponsored and runs the Mugen Seiki 1/8 nitro platform. TQ Racing wanted to bring Travis Amezcua on board for there 1/10 Scale Electric program. Travis will be running the SX10 Series both 2wh and 4wh. He will also run the SX10T 1/10 scale Stadium Truck and the [rokbox title="SX10SC Sneak Peak" text="SX10SC"]http://www.redrc.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/TQSX10SC.jpg[/rokbox] Short Course Truck. The SX10SC has not been widely mentioned so when we can dig up some info we will pass it along as quick as we get the details. Travis will integrate his current sponsorships such as LRP, Orion and Proline to compliment his TQ Racing Contract.

TQ Racing has recently announced that Travis Amezcua has joined the TQ Racing Team. Travis will campaign the TQ Racing SX10 series of 1/10 electric off-road cars through 2011. Travis brings strong talent to the TQ Racing Team. Travis has been very consistent making it to the IFMAR World Championship A Main Finals. Travis Amezcua TQ’d and took the top spot at the 2003 ROAR 2wd Modified National Championships. Travis brings with him a long history in the
hobby industry with a background that does not stop with his driving. But he also lends a strong product development background to TQ Racing’s Design Team. Travis will run the TQ Racing SX10 2w, SX10T, SX10 4w and SX10 SC. He will also integrate his current sponsors such as LRP, Orion and Proline with the TQ racing electric platform. He will continue to run Mugen Seiki within the 1/8 nitro class.
