This past weekend at the Alabama Manufacturers Shootout 2010 brought the worlds best out to race. Along with multiple manufactures and expert drivers, Billy Easton & Team Serpent was there running the new S811 Cobra. They put there S811 up against the tough competition at one of the years biggest events.
The track was ready to be tamed by Expert Drivers such as Mike True, Adam Drake, Jesse Robbers, Ryan Lutz and many others. Serpent S811 drivers had there hands full for the four day event! They managed to put two buggies in the A-Main Expert Buggy Finals. Serpent S811 Cobra driver Ronald Baar reports.
Billy Easton had super results qualifying and landed on 6th spot overall, just behind Robers and Drake. The last few heats Easton was on fire and very very quick. Easton was able to TQ the 3rd round of qualifying.
Chris Tosolini how is also racing more offroad lately is getting to grips with his new Serpent animal, and landed on 7th spot, good for the Amain too. Recently joined driver Jared Scott was flying too and landed on 13th, ready for the B.
In the A main final Billy had a great start and was in 2nd for a while. A crash lateron in the final dropped him back, but still in 10th position in the end, with Chris in 14th. Jared was in the B, we will learn more on his race in the reports following.
Great introduction of Serpent S811 Cobra in Alabama, and good to see the Serpent in great shape, also among the top-level drivers in the USA. All very promising. Many more big races coming up in June, we will continue the postings.You can also follow the Serpent America team on facebook too.
